Ukraine's General Staff confirms repeat drone hit on Crimea oil terminal
Ukraine's General Staff confirmed a repeat strike on an oil terminal in Russian-occupied Feodosia, Crimea, where a massive fire has now burned for a third day.
Ukrainian Defense Forces targeted the terminal on Monday, damaging 16 fuel tanks that had survived a prior attack and igniting a blaze that continues to rage across the facility.
The terminal serves as a key logistics hub for supplying Russian troops with petroleum products; the total volume of oil products that could have been stored in the tanks was about 193,000 cubic meters, the General Staff said.
On Tuesday, Ukrainian units also struck a P-18 radar station in Krasna Poliana in occupied Crimea, a drone control point in Oleshky in occupied Kherson Oblast and an ammunition depot near Makiyivka in occupied Donetsk Oblast.
The SBU and Special Operations Forces carried out the Monday attack on the terminal, which also hit several power facilities.
The previous strike on the facility occurred on October 6, when a fire raged for more than two days without being extinguished.
