Russian saboteurs break into Pokrovsk and kill several civilians, later destroyed by Ukrainian forces
A Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group breached central Pokrovsk in eastern Ukraine, killing several civilians before Ukrainian troops hunted down and destroyed the unit, the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of Air Assault Troops reported on Monday.
The killings occurred near the city's railway station, the corps said. An ad hoc strike-search team from Ukraine's Defense Forces later spotted the Russian group hiding in the station building and other urban areas, then eliminated them.

"The situation in the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps' area of responsibility remains tense," the statement added. "The enemy wants to expand the 'gray zone' around Pokrovsk. Occupiers are trying to infiltrate the city from several directions."
