Ground corridor opened to reinforce Ukrainian forces after helicopter operation in Pokrovsk – intel

Ukraine's military intelligence broke through a ground corridor to link up with special forces after a helicopter insertion in Pokrovsk, allowing reinforcements to join the fight, the agency reported.

"After a successful airborne operation, additional special unit forces broke through a ground corridor to link up with DIU special operators who had secured designated lines," the intelligence said.

Forces from the Timur Special Unit and other reconnaissance teams continue combat operations to prevent Russians from expanding fire control over logistics in the DIU's area of responsibility.

Operational details are not being disclosed for personnel security.

The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said 30% of all combat actions are concentrated on the Pokrovsk axis.

According to him, the enemy has made no gains in Pokrovsk in recent days. Currently, 260-300 Russians are in the city.

Pokrovsk is defended by air assault brigades, marine infantry and mechanized brigades.
