Explosions hit Oryol Thermal Power Plant in Russia
Explosions rocked the Russian city of Oryol overnight into Wednesday amid drone attacks targeting multiple regions, with local officials reporting two drones downed and Ukrainian open-source trackers suggesting hits on a thermal power plant, regional governor Andrey Klychkov reported.
According to him, Russian electronic warfare means allegedly destroyed two jet drones over Oryol. He also reported damage to seven private homes and windows in one apartment building. There were no casualties.
Meanwhile, Telegram channels citing locals wrote that the attack on Oryol was with missiles, and the explosions occurred in the area of the thermal power plant. Ukrainian OSINT resources are also reporting this.
