Russian forces launched 128 drones at Ukraine overnight into Friday, with air defenses neutralizing 94 of them but recording hits at 11 locations, the Air Force command reported.
The aggressor fired about 80 strike drones of the Shahed type, as well as Gerberas and drones of other types from Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The aerial assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups.
Preliminary data as of 9 a.m. shows air defenses shot down or suppressed 94 drones in the north, south and east of the country. However, hits from 31 strike drones were recorded at 11 locations.
Additionally, several Russian drones remain in the airspace.
Consequences of the attack
In Kharkiv Oblast, Russians attacked the Vilkhuvatka, Velykyi Burluk and Shevchenkove territorial communities, the State Emergency Service reported.
One drone hit the roof of a four-story residential building, damaging 20 apartments; a neighboring building was also affected. Additionally, a private house burned over about 100 square meters due to the attack, along with grounds of an agricultural enterprise.
Russia again struck Odesa Oblast’s energy infrastructure, regional governor Oleh Kiper said.
As a result of the strike, warehouse premises and an administrative building were damaged. Rescuers quickly extinguished all fires.
