Russia strikes energy facilities in four Ukrainian regions — Energy Ministry
Russian forces struck energy infrastructure in four Ukrainian oblasts overnight into Thursday, the Energy Ministry reported.
The attacks hit sites in the Chernihiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv oblasts. Repair and restoration work is underway at the damaged facilities.
As of Thursday, rolling blackout schedules and capacity limits for industrial users and businesses are in effect around the clock across all regions, the ministry said.
"Consumers are urged to use electricity rationally throughout the day, especially during peak morning and evening hours," the ministry added. "This helps reduce the load on the system."
