Russian guided aerial bomb kills 2 at Sumy Oblast store when people were inside
Russian troops dropped a guided aerial bomb on a store in the Velyka Pysarivka territorial community in Ukraine's Sumy Oblast — right as people were inside, according to regional governor Oleg Hryhorov and the regional prosecutor's office.
Two people were killed: a 40-year-old cashier and a 63-year-old local. Their bodies have been recovered from the rubble.
"One other cashier who was in the store miraculously survived. Two people were injured," Hryhorov said.
One woman was hospitalized with wounds.
The regional administration said nearly 30 strikes hit 20 settlements in 12 communities over the past day. Buildings and a car were damaged.
In addition, a 38-year-old man wounded in an enemy drone strike on a truck in the Trostianets community died in hospital yesterday. The attack happened on October 17.
