Three brothers killed in Russian strike on Kramatorsk home

Three brothers — two 19-year-olds and their 8-year-old sibling — were killed when a Russian strike directly hit their family home in Kramatorsk, while their mother and grandmother were wounded, the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office reported on Friday.

Their 43-year-old mother and 65-year-old grandmother sustained blast and shrapnel injuries, including traumatic brain injuries with concussion, chest contusions, spinal injuries, arm injuries and shell shock. They have already received medical care.

The type of weapon used in the strike on the family home is being established. Law enforcement has opened a pre-trial investigation into the incident as a war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code.
