SBU drones ignite major fire at Druzhba pipeline oil pumping station

Ukrainian Security Service long-range drones struck the Kaleikino oil pumping station — a key node feeding crude into Russia’s Druzhba pipeline — in Tatarstan overnight into Monday, causing a large fire at oil storage tanks, an informed SBU source told hromadske.

The station receives crude from Western Siberia and the Volga region, blends it and maintains pressure for export via Druzhba and to Tatarstan refineries.

Located more than 1,200 kilometers from Ukraine’s border, the facility saw six explosions during the attack, followed by a major blaze.

The SBU source stated: “The SBU systematically works to reduce Russia’s oil production and transportation. Our special operations methodically cut the flow of petrodollars financing the war against Ukraine.”

Tatarstan authorities earlier said an industrial facility came under attack, describing a “localized fire” from falling drone debris, though online videos showed a large-scale blaze across the site.
