Drones strike Russian port in Leningrad Oblast, fuel tank catches fire
Drones attacked the port of Primorsk in Russia's Leningrad Oblast overnight into Monday, damaging a fuel tank and sparking a fire, regional Governor Alexander Drozdenko reported.
Drozdenko claimed that more than 50 drones had been shot down over the region since the previous evening. Despite those intercepts, a fuel storage tank at the port on the Gulf of Finland was damaged, causing a fire.
Emergency crews are working to extinguish the blaze, and port personnel were reportedly evacuated.
NASA's FIRMS fire-monitoring service independently confirmed a fire at port infrastructure in Primorsk. Video of the attack and its aftermath also circulated online.

View in Telegram. This is not the first time the port has been targeted. In September of last year, Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) struck it, damaging two tankers sailing under the flag of the Seychelles.
Ukraine's SBU told hromadske that Primorsk serves as a key hub for loading Russia's so-called shadow fleet — the network of vessels Moscow uses to circumvent international sanctions and sell oil on global markets.
Separately, the Telegram channel Astra reported that during the interception of the drone attack, a Russian air defense missile exploded in a residential area near School No. 12 in the city of Gatchina, Leningrad Oblast — approximately two-thirds of a mile from the VISKOM military plant.
The facility is part of Russia's defense-industrial complex and specializes in the development and manufacture of close-combat weapons and explosive devices.
