Russia fires two Iskander missiles and 122 drones at Ukraine overnight

Russian forces launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 122 drones of various types at Ukraine in the overnight attack, Ukraine's Air Force reported.

As of 8:30 a.m., Ukrainian defenders had neutralized 111 Russian drones. Impacts from nine drones and missiles were recorded at 11 locations, with debris falling at three additional sites.

The Air Force warned that the attack was ongoing, with new groups of Russian drones entering Ukrainian airspace.

Casualties and damage from Russian strikes

On the evening of May 25, Russian forces struck Odesa, damaging a city infrastructure facility. One man died despite resuscitation efforts by paramedics, and three others were wounded.

The Poltava district also came under Russian fire, the State Emergency Service reported. A residential building was destroyed, with an elderly resident trapped inside; rescuers pulled her from the rubble and handed her over to medics.

Also on the evening of May 25, Russian forces dropped two aerial bombs on central Kramatorsk, Donetsk regional military administration head Vadym Filashkin reported. 12 people were wounded, including an 8-year-old boy.

The State Emergency Service said the strike damaged residential buildings and set vehicles and apartments ablaze in a multi-story building.

Three people were also injured in the Russian attack on Sumy Oblast. The State Emergency Service reported that the aggressor struck the town of Romny - detached housing and an infrastructure facility were hit.
