Russia launched a massive attack on the Kharkiv region; there are casualties
Russian forces carried out a series of drone and missile strikes on the Kharkiv region overnight on June 9, targeting Kharkiv and Chuhuiv, say the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, and the State Emergency Service.
Russia hit Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts in Kharkiv. At least 15 people, including two children, are reported injured. The attack damaged apartment buildings, urban infrastructure, and set dozens of cars ablaze.
In Chuhuiv, the missile attack killed three people and injured three others. The attack also set garages, cars, on fire, and damaged residential and other buildings.
