Last night, Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles hit a military factory in Cheboksary that supplies the occupying forces with components for drones and missiles. Thank you to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their accuracy! The Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in the Samara region was also struck last night. The distance from the front line is over 900 kilometres. I am grateful to the service members of the Special Operations Forces, Unmanned Systems Forces, and the Defence Intelligence. The Security Service of Ukraine also delivered a well-deserved response, striking two oil infrastructure facilities in the Vladimir region, 700 kilometers away. Thank you to everyone who is fighting and working for Ukraine!” the president wrote this on his official Telegram channel.

The Russian Telegram channel Astra, based on an analysis of video footage, determined that the target of the strike on Cheboksary was the VNIIR-Progress facility, which has been attacked by the Ukrainian military multiple times. It manufactures Kometa antennas for Shahed drones, Iskander-M and Kalibr missile systems to jam Ukrainian electronic warfare systems, and also produces unified gliding and correction modules for aerial bombs.
