Moscow mayor claims over 50 drones downed overnight as blasts also reported near Novorossiysk port

Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed 419 Ukrainian drones were shot down over 19 Russian regions overnight into Tuesday, with explosions reported in Moscow Oblast and near the port of Novorossiysk.

The message from the Russian Ministry of Defense is reported by the Interfax news agency.

Between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m., Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 56 drones had been intercepted during the night.

According to the Ukrainian OSINT project Exilenova+, explosions were heard in Dubna and Yegoryevsk in Moscow Oblast.
