Ukraine's Defense Forces hit Russian Tu-95 bomber and oil facilities (VIDEO)

Ukrainian forces carried out new long-range strikes against Russia, hitting a Tu-95 bomber and oil industry facilities, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on social media.

According to the president, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) destroyed a Tu-95 aircraft that Russia had used to launch missile strikes on Ukraine. The target was hit 800 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.

The bomber’s tail section was completely torn off.

In addition, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck Russian oil industry facilities and “designated targets” in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory.

“We are increasing the price Russia pays for its aggression against our country and our people. Thank you to everyone who is helping!” Zelenskyy said.

On June 25, Zelenskyy announced a 40-day “operation of pressure” against Russia aimed at forcing it to end the war. During that period, SBU special forces struck military support vessels in occupied Kerch, at least seven Russian aircraft in Crimea, air defense assets, oil facilities inside Russia and other targets.
