Fire breaks out near thermal power plant area in Russia's Lipetsk after missile alert

A missile alert was declared overnight into Tuesday in the Russian city of Lipetsk, where a fire covering about 2,500 square meters broke out near a thermal power plant, according to Gov. Igor Artamonov.

The fire occurred on the grounds of production facilities in the city.

According to Artamonov, the blaze spread across more than 2,500 square meters.

Belgorod was also hit, and part of the city lost water supply. Drones also attacked occupied Simferopol and Mariupol.
