Magura sea platforms hit two Russian radar targets in occupied Crimea, Ukrainian intelligence says
The Ukrainian Defense Intelligence’s special operations units used new Magura maritime platforms at the end of July to strike two Russian radar-related targets in occupied Crimea, as reported by the military intelligence.
The operation was carried out by its special unit, Group 13.
According to the agency, the unit struck a command vehicle belonging to the Podlet radar complex, as well as a Russian friend-or-foe identification system — the Parol-4 radar interrogator.
The operation reportedly took place in late July 2026. The special operators used new Magura maritime platforms, including carriers for FPV drones, which allowed them to successfully strike Russian ground targets in Crimea.
“From now on, our Maguras threaten the Russian occupiers on land as well — this is a radical shift of the fight into a different dimension,” the commander of Group 13, whose call sign is Thirteenth, said.
During the war at sea, Group 13 operators have destroyed nine Russian ships and damaged five others, destroyed three enemy helicopters and damaged another one, and also destroyed two fighter aircraft from Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.
