Russian drone strike injures two young children in Ukraine's Mykolaiv Oblast

A Russian drone struck a family home in the village of Novokyivka in southern Ukraine's Mykolaiv Oblast on Oct. 8, injuring a three-month-old girl and a one-year-old boy, regional authorities reported.

The children were hospitalized and are receiving medical treatment. Both are in satisfactory condition, according to acting regional governor Heorhiy Reshetilov.

The attack involved a Russian Molniya drone and damaged two private homes, a garage and a car.

Earlier the same day, a Russian FPV drone struck a civilian minibus in the village of Lymany, injuring its 66-year-old driver. No passengers were on board at the time.

The driver was reported to be in satisfactory condition. The minibus sustained damage to its windows and roof.
