Russian attack on Vinnytsia injures four, damages civilian infrastructure
A Russian aerial attack on the central Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia injured four people and damaged civilian infrastructure on October 16, regional authorities reported.
Two of the injured were hospitalized and are receiving medical care, said Natalia Zabolotna, head of the Vinnytsia Oblast Military Administration.
Zabolotna did not specify which civilian facilities were damaged or provide details about the injuries.
She warned that the aerial attack was still underway at the time of her statement and urged residents to remain in shelters until the air raid alert was lifted.
Earlier, Ukraine's Air Force had warned of a jet-powered drone flying over Vinnytsia. Authorities have not confirmed whether that drone was responsible for the reported damage.
