Russian forces launched 310 drones at Ukraine overnight on November 4, targeting energy infrastructure across multiple regions and damaging residential buildings and civilian facilities, Ukrainian authorities reported.

Energy facilities were hit in Volyn, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Odesa and Kirovohrad oblasts, while authorities in Rivne Oblast also reported attempted strikes on energy infrastructure.

According to Ukraine's Air Force, Russia launched 310 drones, including 81 jet-powered drones, from several locations in Russia and Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories.

Ukrainian air defenses shot down or electronically suppressed 272 drones, including 64 jet-powered drones, as of 8 a.m. local time. More than 20 drones remained airborne as defensive operations continued.

Drone strikes were recorded at 19 locations, while debris from intercepted drones fell at another 15 locations.

In western Ukraine's Volyn Oblast, an energy facility in the Kovel district was hit, causing widespread power outages on November 3. Regional governor Roman Romaniuk said electricity had been restored to all settlements and consumers by the following morning.

In southern Ukraine's Odesa Oblast, Russian strikes hit an energy facility, a shopping mall and residential areas. A fire broke out at the mall but was extinguished by emergency crews. No injuries were initially reported in the region.

In Poltava Oblast, fires broke out at a business facility in the regional capital and on private property in Kremenchuk.

The latest strikes followed another major Russian assault on Ukraine's energy system on November 3.

Ukraine's state grid operator Ukrenergo said Russian forces had deliberately attacked energy facilities more than 20 times over the preceding 24 hours, causing extensive damage.

The company warned that the November 3 attacks had further complicated the situation in Ukraine's power system.
