Ukrainian ground robots complete record 31,398 frontline missions in October

Ukraine's military carried out a record 31,398 logistics and evacuation missions using unmanned ground vehicles in October 2026, more than quadrupling the monthly total recorded at the start of the year, the Defense Ministry said on November 6.

The figure is the highest monthly total since the launch of Ukraine's ePoints military incentive system, according to the ministry. All reported missions were logged in the military's DELTA battlefield management system and verified by specialists from the defense technology initiative Brave1.

The number of missions has increased every month this year, from 7,511 in January to 19,935 in July, 28,491 in September and 31,398 in October — a rise of approximately 318% since January.

Unmanned ground vehicles, also known as ground robots, are increasingly used on dangerous stretches of the front line to deliver ammunition, food and water to troops without exposing personnel to the same risks. They can also evacuate wounded soldiers from areas where sending human crews would be especially hazardous.

Under the ePoints system, military units receive credits for verified missions, which they can use to obtain drones, electronic warfare equipment and additional ground robotic systems through the Brave1 Market military procurement platform.

The Defense Ministry has also expanded the platform to include amphibious ground robots, with three models initially available for military units to order.

The ministry did not provide a breakdown of October's missions by task type or disclose how many individual robotic vehicles were involved.
