Aggravation between Armenia and Azerbaijan

An armed clash took place on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the countries blame each other for the aggravated situation. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported that as a result of the fighting there were losses among personnel on both sides, as well as damaged military infrastructure and hardware. Armenia confirmed it.

As of 3:00 a.m. in Kyiv, the situation at the border remained “extremely tense”, the shooting continued.

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, called the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and wants to address the CSTO.

Situation at the southern frontline

Russian troops in the south are trying to raise reserves and improve their tactical position, but the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to push back the enemy along the entire front line.

During the day of the battle, the Russians tried to improve the tactical position in the directions from Ternovi Pody to Liubomyrivka and from Chkalove to Bezimenne with forces containing from two platoons to a company with the support of tanks. In both cases, they were unsuccessful: they suffered losses and retreated.

Thanks to the actions of the Ukrainian military, the Russian troops lost another 59 soldiers, a tank, 152-caliber 5 howitzers (in particular, self-propelled Msta-B and Msta-S), a command and staff vehicle, and a control vehicle, as well as 12 other armored vehicles.

Ukrainian defenders in Sviatohirsk

Ukrainian servicemen entered the city of Sviatohirsk in Donetsk Oblast. This was reported by military officer Vitalii Markiv, whose video message was published by the press service of the National Guard. Before that, a photo of a Ukrainian flag being installed on the building of the city council in Sviatohirsk was shared on social networks.

Losses of the occupiers

During the counteroffensive of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on September 6-11, Russian hardware worth more than $670 million was destroyed - such losses were calculated by the Ukrainian editors of Forbes. The most expensive loss of the occupiers was the Moskva-1 electronic warfare complex ($57 million), which was destroyed in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Not all the hardware lost by the Russians was destroyed. According to the Oryx analytical project, from September 6 to 10, the Ukrainian military seized 129 hardware units, which Forbes estimates at $104 million. In particular, we are talking about 9 Msta-S and Msta-B howitzers worth more than $43 million.

Headquarters for response to Russian terror

After the occupiers attacked Ukrainian energy facilities, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a coordination headquarters would be created in Ukraine to quickly respond to all such manifestations of Russian terror.

As noted by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, a coordination headquarters is being created within the State Commission on Technological and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations to improve response to emergency situations. The task of the headquarters will be the prompt liquidation of the consequences of the military destruction of energy and utility infrastructure.

Attack on Ukrainian women in France

In the commune of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France, on September 11, Russians beat two girls from Ukraine for allegedly listening to Ukrainian music. The local publication Monaco-Matin notes that the victims are a mother, Olena, and her daughter, Alina, who fled the war to France on April 19 from Izium, Kharkiv Oblast, which was still occupied at the time. Doctors diagnosed Olena with a broken nose and Alina with pain in her legs and head.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleh Nikolenko said that the Ukrainian embassy in Paris took the case under special control.

“Diplomats are cooperating with French law enforcement officers for prompt investigation of the attack, maintaining contact with the victims, who were provided with the necessary medical assistance. The attackers must be punished,” he wrote.
