What Donbas Residents Think About Possible Lifting of Economic Blockade

After the talks in Minsk, representatives of delegations spoke about the possible lifting of the economic blockade from the Donbas. OSCE Representative Martin Sajdik said that it was the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Leonid Kuchma, who proposed this idea, but later he clarified — the initiative was put forward by the representatives of the so—called Donetsk and Luhansk “people’s republics”.

After the talks in Minsk, representatives of delegations spoke about the possible lifting of the economic blockade from the Donbas. OSCE Representative Martin Sajdik said that it was the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Leonid Kuchma, who proposed this idea, but later he clarified - the initiative was put forward by the representatives of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk “people’s republics”. Kuchma merely suggested discussing this idea.

Both residents and businessmen in the Donbas welcomed this news, although, with slight suspicion. Hromadske spoke to the people to find out what they think about the possible abolition of the blockade.
