Russian overnight strike on Odesa wounds 5, including teenager
Russian troops attacked Odesa overnight into Friday, wounding five people, including a 16-year-old boy, city governor Serhiy Lysak reported.
The strike damaged a residential building and a business in one of the city's districts, regional governor Oleh Kiper said in an update at 8:20 a.m.
Three of the injured — a 49-year-old woman and the teenager with thermal burns, and a 70-year-old man with a head injury — were hospitalized and are receiving treatment.
The other two men — a 67-year-old with an acute stress reaction and a 43-year-old with facial burns — are getting outpatient care.
Lysak initially reported four injured, with one treated on site and three hospitalized for burns and blast wounds.
Emergency services are working at the sites to clear the aftermath.
