Execution of 16 Ukrainian soldiers
On October 1, information appeared on Telegram channels about the alleged shooting of 16 Ukrainian soldiers by representatives of the Russian army. According to the media, another war crime was committed by the Russian army near Mykolaivka and Sukhyi Yar villages of Pokrovsk district.
The released video shows how, under the control of the enemy, captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine left the plantation. After they lined up, the Russians deliberately opened fire on them to kill them. The wounded, who showed signs of life, were finished off at close range with automatic rounds.
Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin calls this the most massive known case of execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war on the front line.
