Russian forces launched a barrage of drones and guided bombs at Ukraine's Sumy Oblast overnight into Thursday, killing three men and prompting rail operators to divert multiple passenger trains, regional governor Oleg Hryhorov reported.

Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated a settlement in the Dobropillia sector from Russian troops, the Dnipro Operational-Strategic Troop Grouping reported on Friday.

Units of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces, in coordination with other Defense Forces components, attacked the Olya maritime port in Russia’s Astrakhan Oblast, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
