Six people killed in Donetsk Oblast due to Russian shelling

At least six people were killed in Chasiv Yar and Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast as a result of Russian attacks, reported regional governor Vadym Filashkin.

Active fighting continues in Chasiv Yar, but some people still remain in the city.

Five people aged 32 to 66 were recently killed there at the hands of Russians. Also, a 62-year-old man died in Pokrovsk the day before.

The bodies were found today, February 3, but it is unknown when exactly they died.

In addition, one person was injured in Rubtsi near Lyman.

Situation in the region

Over the past 24 hours, February 2, the Russians shelled settlements in Donetsk Oblast 8 times:

  • Pokrovsk district. In Myrnohrad, one person died, four houses were damaged. In the village of Shevchenko, Dobropillia community, three people were injured. In Sribne, Pokrovsk community, two people were injured, and in Rodynske, eight houses were damaged.
  • Kramatorsk district. A house was hit in Novoselyivka of the Lyman community. A house and a gas pipeline were damaged in Kostiantynivka; five houses were attacked in Fedorivka; a house and an administrative building were also damaged in Mykolaivka.
  • Bakhmut district. 10 houses were shelled in Siversk.

253 people were evacuated from the front line, including 9 children.
