Russian drone attack hits Poltava military recruitment center, kills two
This morning, Russian forces launched multiple strikes on Poltava using Shahed attack drones, according to Poltava Oblast Military Administration head Volodymyr Kohut.
An air alert was announced in the region at 8:04 a.m. The governor reported explosions in the Poltava territorial community 40 minutes later, though details were initially unclear. The air alert ended at 9:05 a.m.
Social media reports indicated that the Shahed drones targeted the building of the Poltava City Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support.

Another drone struck a private house near the recruitment center, also sparking a fire. The attack resulted in deaths and injuries, including among civilians.
Updated at 10:38 a.m. Kohut reported that the strikes in Poltava killed two people and injured 11 others.
Previously, Russian forces attacked a recruitment center building in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Authorities there stated that no civilians were present during the attack, and all staff—military and civilian—were in shelters.
