Two more bodies found in rubble of Kharkiv enterprise hit by Russian strike on June 7

Rescuers in Kharkiv recovered two more bodies on Thursday from the rubble of a civilian enterprise hit by a Russian strike on June 7, bringing the total to five dead, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported.

Terekhov announced the fourth body was retrieved early on June 12, followed by a fifth, as confirmed by Kharkiv Oblast Administration head Oleg Synegubov at 10:20 a.m., with search efforts ongoing.

The June 7 attack, one of Kharkiv’s most intense, involved missiles, guided aerial bombs, and drones, causing massive fires and destruction at a civilian enterprise in the Kyivskyi district.

On June 10, rescuers found one body, followed by two more on June 11, including a woman’s.

The assault saw at least 40 explosions in 90 minutes, initially killing three and injuring 22.

A second strike that evening killed a 62-year-old man and the head of a children’s railway, with over 40 injuries reported citywide.
