DIU drones reach North Ossetia, where a Russian airfield is located

Ukrainian intelligence drones flew to the city of Mozdok in North Ossetia, Russia, which is about 1,000 kilometers from the front line. There is an airfield there that is used for missile attacks on the territory of Ukraine.

The head of North Ossetia, Sergei Menyailo, announced the downing of three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in Mozdok. The target was a local airfield, he claims.

Later, Menyailo clarified that “minor destruction and fire” were recorded. There were reportedly no casualties or injuries. All services were put on high alert and all public events in the area were canceled.
