Ukrainian drones attack refinery in Russia's Rostov Oblast and oil depot in Belgorod Oblast

Ukrainian intelligence drones attacked an oil depot in Belgorod Oblast overnight. Russia also reported a night drone attack on the Novoshakhtinsky oil refinery in Rostov Oblast (partly owned by Viktor Medvedchuk).
The attack on Belgorod Oblast was confirmed by a hromadske source, and local media and Telegram channels reported the attack on Rostov Oblast.
The governor of Belgorod Oblat, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported the attack of a Ukrainian drone on an oil depot in the Stary Oskol town district. As a result of the impact, one of the tanks caught fire, which has already allegedly been extinguished. There are no reported casualties.
hromadske's source in the special services confirmed that the attack on the oil depot in Belgorod Oblast was a special operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
At the same time, as a result of the attack on the Novoshakhtinsky Refinery in Rostov Oblast, a fire broke out, Governor Vasily Golubev confirmed. The fire was extinguished by morning. There are no reported casualties.
Our source did not confirm the involvement of the Defense Intelligence in the attack on the Novoshakhtinsky Oil Refinery. We are trying to find out whether this is the work of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Telegram channels published videos showing the large-scale fire, and members of a local chat wrote that they heard several explosions.
Later, the oil refinery was hit again, due to which the fire extinguishing was suspended, the Russian service of Radio Liberty wrote.
In 2021, Radio Liberty’s investigative project "Skhemy" wrote that the family of former MP Viktor Medvedchuk owns a share of the Novoshakhtinsky Refinery. The plant produces diesel fuel and supplies the needs of the Russian troops.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that air defense forces allegedly destroyed or intercepted 13 Ukrainian drones over the occupied Crimea, six over Belgorod Oblast and one Neptune anti-ship missile over Rostov Oblast.
The Ukrainian authorities and the military traditionally do not comment on the strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation. Usually, such strikes are the work of the SBU or DIU.
Russian refineries are regularly attacked by Ukrainian drones. In some cases, their work was suspended. In particular, Ukraine struck the refinery in Novoshakhtinsky for the third time. The first two attacks were in March and April, and after them the plant stopped working.
