Ukrainian forces hit oil depot in Russia's Kursk Oblast, causing fire

Defense Forces launched an attack on Russia’s Kursk Oblast overnight on July 29. The Ukrainian military successfully hit another strategic object — an oil depot, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

The "Logistics center #43" oil depot in the village of Vozy came under attack. According to intelligence, a fire broke out as a result of the attack on Russia’s facility. More detailed information about the consequences of the damage is currently being clarified.

The blow was delivered by the SBU Security Service in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces.

The General Staff stated that the Ukrainian army will continue to take all possible measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russians in order to force them to stop their armed aggression against Ukraine.

Explosions were reported overnight in the Russian city of Kursk. Local authorities said that several missiles were allegedly shot down over the region.

Recently, the Defense Forces confirmed the July 28 night attack on the Polevaya oil depot, also in Kursk Oblast. The General Staff also reported damage to a number of traction power substations in the region as explosions rang out in the areas of at least four substations.
