Oil depot catches fire after drone attack in Russia's Tambov Oblast

A new overnight drone attack took place in Russia, which caused a fire at an oil depot in Tambov Oblast, announced Governor Maksim Yegorov.

According to his data, at 4:35 a.m., an unmanned aerial vehicle was recorded arriving at an oil depot in Michurinsk district (probably the Michurinsk Refinery), which caused a "small fire." Currently, the fire has been contained, but extinguishing is still ongoing.

There are no reported casualties. The nearest settlement is 3 km from the oil depot. The governor stated that residents will be evacuated if necessary.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the alleged destruction of 12 drones over Bryansk Oblast, nine over Smolensk Oblast, one more over Voronezh Oblast, two over Kursk Oblast and one over Rostov Oblast. At the same time, the department did not mention the damage to the oil depot in Tambov Oblast.

The Ukrainian authorities and the military traditionally do not comment on the strikes on the territory of Russia.
