Drones attack Moscow and 10 regions of Russia overnight (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Air attacks were recorded in Moscow and Moscow Oblast, Belgorod, Bryansk, Tver, Voronezh, Ryazan, Tula, Lipetsk, Kursk, and Kaluga oblasts of Russia.

Moscow Mayor Serhiy Sobyanin said that nine drones were shot down on the approach to the city. One drone flew into the city and was shot down in the area of the Moscow Oil Refinery, in the Kapotnya area.

In the suburbs of Moscow, the target of the drones was the Kashira thermal power station, which is located on the banks of the Oka in the town of Kashira. The local authorities reported five drones shot down in the suburbs of Moscow.

In Tver Oblast of the Russian Federation, the authorities reported an attack by five drones "near Konakovo", where the Konakovo thermal power plant is located. The head of the town district, Mikhail Shuvalov, said on Telegram: "There was an attempt to attack the premises of the Kashira State District Power Plant by three drones . There are no casualties or damage."

According to locals, as a result of the attack, a fire broke out at the facility itself and the gas distribution network located several kilometers away from it.

The governor of Lipetsk also reported an attack by drones on the industrial zone of Lipetsk. However, there are no casualties.

In Belgorod Oblast, it was reported that several air targets were shot down on the approach to the city. There is damage to the glazing in the city, and an outbuilding was destroyed on the premises of one household.

In other regions, the Russian authorities also reported on the work of anti-aircraft defense and the shooting down of aerial targets.
