Partisan movement claims sabotage on railroad near missile depot in Tver region of Russia
The ATESH partisan movement has carried out a sabotage on the railroad near a missile and artillery depot in the Tver region of Russia.
This was reported by the organization.
They say that this section of the track is used to supply ammunition to the front from the 23rd and 107th arsenals of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense (GRAU), which are strategically important facilities for the Russian military infrastructure.
The 107th arsenal of the GRAU, located in Toropets and covering an area of about 5 square kilometers, stores Iskander ballistic missiles, Tochka-U missiles, as well as large-caliber artillery shells and ammunition for Smerch and Grad MLRS.
The 23rd arsenal, 16 km south of Toropets, although smaller in size, holds significant stockpiles of tank and artillery shells, high-explosive mines and mortar ammunition, as well as anti-tank missiles and guided missiles.
According to ATESH, these arsenals provide a significant part of the logistics for Russian troops on the front line. The sabotage complicated the supply of ammunition by disrupting an important supply line.
The organization added that the damage to the railway infrastructure deprives the Russian army of the ability to quickly restore its resources at the front.
