Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi district devastated by Russian missile strike
A Russian missile strike demolished an entire residential quarter in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi district, killing nine and injuring 63, our correspondent reported from the scene.
The impact completely destroyed a two-story residential building and severely damaged two adjacent structures.
Emergency services are working tirelessly to clear debris and search for survivors, with a nearby school converted into a hub to assist victims.
Preliminary reports indicate nine fatalities and 63 injured across Kyiv, with 42 civilians, including six children, hospitalized.
Other districts also suffered during the overnight assault. In the Shevchenkivskyi and Holosiyivskyi districts, falling drone debris sparked fires in garages.
