Russia attacks Ukraine with Iskander missile, 145 drones – Air Force

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile and 145 Shahed strike drones and decoy drones from the evening of May 13 to the early hours of May 14, with Ukrainian defenses downing 80 UAVs, the Air Force reported.

As of 9 AM, Ukraine confirmed the destruction of 80 Shahed attack drones and other drone types across eastern, northern, western, and central regions, while 42 Russian decoy drones were lost to radar without causing harm.

No information was provided on the interception of the Iskander-M/KN-23 missile.

Ukrainian fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire groups repelled the assault.

The attack impacted Sumy, Kharkiv, Odesa, Donetsk, and Kirovohrad oblasts.
