Ukraine’s military intelligence unveils Magura drones that sank Russian ships, aircraft
Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate unveiled its Magura series of naval drones, which have destroyed 15 Russian ships and aircraft, including two Su-30 jets, causing over $500 million in losses.
Spymaster Kyrylo Budanov and Group 13 operatives presented four Magura variants in Kyiv on May 14:
- the Magura V5 drone, dubbed a “killer” of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet;
- Magura V6P multifunctional platform;
- the Magura V7 missile-carrying drone, which made history by downing an enemy warplane;
- Magura V7 model equipped with a combat machine gun module.
Over two years, these drones struck 17 Russian maritime and air targets, fully destroying 15, including two Mi-8 helicopters, two Su-30 jets, and warships like Sergey Kotov, Ivanovets, and Tsezar Kunikov.
The financial toll on Russia exceeds $500 million.
