Russian drones strike Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia enlistment offices
Russian drone attacks on Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia struck the Kharkiv Oblast Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) and an area near the Zaporizhzhia Oblast TRC, according to the Ukrainian Land Forces.
One serviceman was injured at the Zaporizhzhia TRC, and three people were wounded at the Kharkiv TRC. Additional details about the casualties are still being clarified, with emergency services responding at the scenes.
This morning, Russian forces launched a second wave of drone attacks on Kharkiv, injuring 11 people, and struck Zaporizhzhia, where at least 10 were injured and a university building was damaged.
Previous attacks on TRCs include a July 6 strike on a recruitment center in Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast, and multiple Shahed drone strikes on July 3 targeting city and regional TRCs in Poltava, which killed two people and injured over 50.
On June 30, Russian forces also struck a TRC in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, where no civilians were present, and all military and civilian staff were in shelters during the attack.
Ukrainian Land Forces spokesperson Valeriy Sarantsev stated that the strikes on TRCs are part of Russia’s efforts to disrupt Ukraine’s mobilization process.
