Russia attacks Ukraine with 150 drones, air defenses neutralize 120 targets
In the early hours of Tuesday, Russian forces launched 150 Shahed attack drones and various decoy drones targeting Ukraine, with air defenses neutralizing 120 targets, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
The drones were launched from Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Chauda Cape in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The attack was countered by air forces, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As a result of the defensive operations, 120 enemy Shahed drones and decoy drones were neutralized across northern, southern, eastern, and central regions of Ukraine.
Military reports confirmed that 30 attack drones struck nine locations, with debris from downed drones falling at five additional sites.
Consequences of the attack
Russian forces heavily targeted Bila Tserkva in Kyiv Oblast overnight, resulting in one fatality. The attack damaged hangars and a three-story building at a local enterprise.
