Russian drones hit Sumy and Kyiv Oblast, killing one

Russian forces launched a drone attack on Bila Tserkva in Kyiv Oblast overnight into Tuesday, 2025, resulting in one fatality, according to Kyiv Oblast Military Administration head Mykola Kalashnyk and Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
The attack damaged hangars and a three-story building at a local enterprise, sparking fires. A garage cooperative also caught fire, and during firefighting efforts, rescuers discovered the body of a deceased man.
In another location in Bila Tserkva, State Emergency Service personnel extinguished fires in three buildings.
Russian forces also struck Sumy overnight, causing a large-scale fire, reported Sumy Oblast Military Administration head Oleg Hryhorov.
The attack hit non-residential buildings in the Zarichnyi district, with no reported casualties. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
