Ukrainian forces strike Russian command posts in Donetsk Oblast involved near Pokrovsk

On September 8, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces delivered a comprehensive strike on Russian military command posts in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast, the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported.

On the same day, Russian media and OSINT resources reported hits in the area of the former Topaz factory in Donetsk.

It has now been revealed that Ukraine's Missile Forces and artillery, Air Force, Unmanned Systems Forces and other units targeted the command posts of the Russian Center troop grouping and the 41st Combined Arms Army of Russia's Ground Forces. These military formations are operating in the Pokrovsk sector.

On August 28, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov visited the command posts of Russian troops in this sector. Shortly after his visit, these locations of the Russian army's command were successfully struck.

The General Staff confirmed casualties among enemy personnel, including command staff. Additionally, the strikes on these military targets significantly disrupted the management of Russian armed forces' units and subunits.
