Ukrainian drones attacked a marine oil terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai

On the night of December 22, Ukrainian drones hit the marine oil terminal Tamanneftegaz in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, told hromadske a source in the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence (HUR).

It is reported that the oil terminal equipment, the mooring line for liquefied hydrocarbon gas, and the port infrastructure were hit, causing a massive fire at the facility.

Taman transshipment complex, operated by Tamanneftegaz, is one of the largest in the Black Sea region. The total volume of its tank farm for petroleum products and liquefied gas is over 1 million cubic meters.

The source in the HUR says that Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence is increasing “strike sanctions on the energy sector of the aggressor state, which is directly involved in financing the war against Ukraine.”

Earlier this morning, the Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai reported that two ships and a pipeline were damaged as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on the village of Volna.
