Russia launches 125 drones at Ukraine overnight

Russian forces launched 125 strike drones at Ukraine overnight into Tuesday, with air defenses downing or suppressing 110 of them, Ukraine’s Air Force reported.

The drones — including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types — were launched from Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo, and Millerovo in Russia.

Air defense units, including aviation, surface-to-air missile troops, electronic warfare teams, unmanned systems and mobile fire groups, repelled the attack.

As of 8:30 a.m., 13 drones struck six locations, with debris falling at two additional sites.
