Ukrainian forces hit Russian drone posts, Ka-27 helicopter in occupied Crimea

Ukrainian forces struck a Russian Ka-27 multi-role shipborne helicopter near the village of Kamyshly in occupied Crimea overnight into Tuesday, while also destroying three Russian drone control points on Monday, Ukraine’s General Staff reported.

The helicopter strike was confirmed with a direct hit on the target.

On Monday, Ukrainian strikes targeted Russian unmanned aerial vehicle command posts near Huliaypole and Zatyshshia (temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast) and Anatoliyevka (Kursk Oblast of Russia).

Russian losses and the full extent of damage are still being assessed.

“The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically strike facilities that enable command and control of troops, aviation and unmanned units of the Russian aggressor,” the General Staff stated.
