Fire breaks out at key Druzhba pipeline station in Tatarstan after drone attack

A major fire broke out at the Kaleikino oil pumping station — a critical node on Russia’s Druzhba pipeline — in Tatarstan overnight into Monday, after a Ukrainian drone attack, regional authorities and monitoring Telegram channels Exilenova and Astra reported.

The Tatarstan leader’s press service said an industrial facility in the republic came under attack, with a “localized fire” allegedly caused by falling drone debris. Video circulating online showed a large blaze on the station grounds.

Astra described Kaleikino as the region’s most powerful pumping station and one of Russia’s key energy logistics hubs. It receives crude from various regions before export via Druzhba and maintains pressure for continuous flow into the main pipeline and Tatarstan refineries.

Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that air defenses downed 152 Ukrainian drones overnight into Monday.
