94 Russian drones target Ukraine overnight

Russian forces launched 94 drones at Ukraine overnight into Thursday, with air defenses downing or suppressing 77 of them, mainly in the north, south and east, Ukraine's Air Force Command reported.

The drones — including more than 60 Shaheds — were launched from Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Millerovo in Russia, and Hvardiyske in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Ukrainian forces repelled the assault using aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems and mobile fire groups.

Preliminary data as of 9 a.m. showed 16 strike drones hit 11 locations, with debris from downed drones falling at one site.
