Ukrainian Air Force downs 93 of 102 Russian drones launched overnight

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 102 strike drones of various types — mostly Shaheds — overnight into Friday, the Ukrainian Air Force Command reported.

The drones were launched from Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and occupied Hvardiyske in Crimea.

Air defenses, including aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems and mobile fire groups, neutralized 93 drones across northern, southern and eastern Ukraine by 8:30 a.m.

Nine drones struck eight locations, while debris from downed drones fell at four others.
