Russian troops starving and thirsty while suffering losses near Hryshyne in Donbas
Russian attempts to use fog for covert advances toward Hryshyne, located northwest of Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast, have been unsuccessful, according to the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces.
Units in the area of responsibility of the 7th Corps are engaging Russian targets while the enemy is still approaching the settlement.
According to preliminary information, Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a company-level officer near Hryshyne. “This caused disorganization in Russian units and reduced their combat capabilities,” the Air Assault Forces said.
The corps also reported that Russians are complaining about their inability to enter the settlement without problems and advance within it, while experiencing shortages of water and food. Ukrainian Defense Forces have recorded cases of enemy troops moving through Hryshyne in search of supplies.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, defenders stopped 29 Russian assault actions near Toretske, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodne and Molodetske on the Pokrovsk axis.
In total, 140 combat clashes occurred along the frontline.
