Ukrainian drones strike Russian FSB command post in occupied Donetsk, killing 12 officers

Ukrainian drones struck a Russian FSB command post and mobile operations base in occupied Donetsk on Wednesday morning, killing 12 officers and wounding 15 others, Unmanned Systems Forces Commander Robert "Magyar" Brovdi reported.

The operation was carried out by the Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces in coordination with the 1st Azov Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. Drones from the 1st Separate Center of the USF targeted locations housing Russian special services.

According to Brovdi, intelligence data indicates that Russia lost 27 special forces personnel in the attack. "12 officers are '200' (killed), and 15 are '300' (wounded)," he stated.

The commander clarified that the targeted Mobile Operations Directorate is an operational special unit within the FSB's Counterintelligence Service.

"It operates as a special forces unit that carries out specific operations and 'dirty' war tasks in the temporarily occupied territories and within Ukraine," Brovdi said.

He further alleged that the Mobile Operations Directorate performs counterintelligence tasks, sabotage, and military special operations.

Additionally, the unit is responsible for creating agent networks and locating and detaining disloyal citizens. In Ukrainian-controlled territories, Brovdi reported that the unit focuses on recruitment, building clandestine networks, and organizing terrorist attacks, sabotage, and arson.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces also confirmed attacks on several other Russian military sites overnight. Units successfully hit a Russian rocket and artillery weapons depot, as well as a logistics warehouse in the occupied part of Donetsk Oblast.

Furthermore, the Gorky oil pumping station in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod Oblast caught fire overnight. A source within the Defense Forces confirmed the attack on the station to hromadske.
